Module 2: Define and Measure Phases of DMAIC Model


Estimating Gap Analysis between current performance and customer expectations.

Conducting Voice of Customer (VOC) analysis.

Translating VOC into Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters.

Creating a SIPOC (Suppliers, Inputs, Processes, Outputs, Customers) diagram.

Project Charter Development.

Mapping the "As Is" process.

Experience Sharing: Groups present their findings and insights from the "Muscle Cars" project application.


Module 3: Measure and Analyze Phases of DMAIC Model


Value Stream Mapping to visualize the process flow.

Identifying process steps for measurement.

Calculating process performance metrics.

Iterative measurement and adjustment if necessary.

Introduction to MINITAB for hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and ANOVA.

Experience Sharing: Groups present their analysis and findings from the "Muscle Cars" project application.


Module 4: Analyze, Improve, and Control Phases of DMAIC Model


Finalizing root cause analysis.

Brainstorming and experimenting with solutions.

Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and control charts using MINITAB.

Implementing control measures to sustain improvements.

Experience Sharing: Groups present their improvement strategies and control measures for the "Muscle Cars" project.


Module 5: Preparation for IASSC Black Belt Exam


Reviewing key terminology and concepts.

Practice exams with 100 questions.

Test Correction and Review to identify areas for improvement before the Black Belt exam.
